IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Opus Bank (“Opus”) (NASDAQ: OPB) announced today the completion of its previously announced private placement of $53 million of its common stock at $18.50 per share. After the payment of placement agent fees and other expenses, the transaction will result in approximately $50 million of net proceeds to Opus.
Opus expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.
Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. served as the sole placement agent for the private placement.
